Lucerne Hay, Stud & quality cattle - 1 hour of Brisbane. Our farms are located in the beautiful Scenic Rim region an easy hours drive from Brisbane. Our pastures are in rich alluvial soils with permanent irrigation supplies. Our Lucerne products are grown and harvested using our own equipment and personnel with over 100 years of combined experience.
Lucerne Hay Products
Lucerne products include fresh prime Lucerne, fresh oaten Lucerne mix, grassy Lucerne (30/70 min), grassy hay (80/20 min) and barley straw in small square bales. We also provide these grades in shedded products and chaff.
All products are also available in round bales. Mulch hay of Lucerne or soya bean stubble is also available in round bales.

In our rural land holdings in the South East Queensland region Forsyth Farms breeds stud and high quality Charolais and Senepol cattle.
We offer stud Senepol and Charolais bulls and cows as well as herd bulls of 50/50 Senepol/Charolias cross, known as Senelais. These Senelais cattle are great for cross breeding over Brahman, Angus and Droughtmaster, and produce high growth rates with high grading beef. The cows are excellent mothers with good milk, placid temperament and high fertility.
The Senepol breed is relatively new to Australia and is outstanding for: Low birth weights; High growth rates; Heat & tick resistant; High feed conversion; Good temperament.
